Entrusted to our care.

Our world, now so badly beaten ~

seems to live in true despair!



Mother's killing children.

Father's killing wives.

A circle of uncertainty,

claims our daily lives.



Terror grips the heart of man,

where a song once freely played.

We, who are called humanity,

become less human every day!



Innocence of lives taken,

in wars, of man-made claim.

Each war a part of history,

each outcome just the same!



Son's to carry bitterness,

to pass on to their son's.

The war forever raging,

but the battle ~

never won.



To make things even sadder,

In our ignorance and shame,

WE have the nearve to say that all this chaos ~

Is done in the Father's name.



I wonder what our Lord is thinking

As he watches from above ~

How many chances will we be given

to fulfill his plan of love?



He once took the world in anger

for the sinfullness of man.

When he looks now, at we have done

I wonder of his plan.



For in the days of Noah

So many years ago,

Another chance was given

And still mankind said no!



Disobediance of his children

but in Love he once again did try

He hung his son upon the cross

and for this world he died.



So is our world beyond repair?

After taking time to think it through.

I think that maybe we should hit our knees ~

Before we are taken too!
