Lovers lay by night

Folder:
2002

In the echoes of an empty room
With the whispers of the night
Lathered on a softened pillow
Lay to lovers cuddled tight

With a breath of day across the floor
And a tear from their dreams
Their folded arms await the cold
As the radio stridently screams

And with winter on their shoulder
And romance in their heart
The day portrays loneliness
Two lovers lay apart

And all the memories are vivid
Inside the mind's eye
They wait for night to fall again
And in the darkness sigh

Author's Notes/Comments:

There is nothing in this world that is more beautiful then two lovers, injoying what they have well they have it

I was pretty floored at the profoundness of this poem although to some it may seem trite. (they can stuff it*snicker*) Good work. =O)
