Four season of love have past in my heart
A year of wild changes and we lay apart
A hue of our summer and dream of our fall
The unspoken moments are all I recall
A chill of our winter and breath of our spring
The fear of forever brought the death of my king
The wheel keeps on turning; the seasons remain
The tears and the yearning, I alone, sustain
And the life comes and goes in this prison of mine
Were I eat winters cheese and drink summers wine
Watching four seasons change round these walls
The winters, the summers, the springs, and the falls
very nice
GREAT wORK
ON THIS ONE
Oh man, this line:
"The unspoken moments are all I recall"
I'm picturing something in my head that I could draw
I have to remember this line
It seems like your not leting everything out at this point there's still some stuff you holding back or so it seems... but ya GO CHEESE.
I haven't read much of your work yet, but this is definitely the best so far. It could still use some revision, but keep in mind that there's no such thing as a perfect work. I really enjoyed this one.
i love that line
"The fear of forever brought the death of my king"
its so amazing
and you say you can't write!

Perhaps "Where I ate winter's meat"? or "Where I ate winter's candy"? Not much help, I know, but maybe it'll give ya a start ...
Great poem tho, but yeah; that cheese part really stands out :-)
