It's been almost a year now since

I lost a friend yet he is not forgotten.

He had so much life to live and things to give

That I don't understand why he had to die.

My lost friend was so young that it

Hurts to think about him everyday.

He would make me smile when I wanted to die and

Told me how important I was.

I don't understand how he didn't know or

Understand how important he was too.

My lost friend was so kind and would

Always listen when I needed him.

I cry during the night thinking of him.

A friend that was lost but never forgotten.
