In the Arms of an Angel
In the arms of an angel, I feel safe and warm.
It seems as nothing can harm me or make me cold.
To tell this angel how I feel is almost impossible though.
To express my love for him is forbidden.
My lips cannot say it but he seems to know.
In the arms of an angel, my heart feels free.
My heart seems to never feel captured again.
The days seem better than they ever were before.
My heart seems to sing with love and joy.
Every moment in the arms of an angel seems to bring a new song.
If I could say all this to the angel, then he
Would know how I feel without a doubt.
When I try to say it, I seem to be lost because
I am in the arms of the angel again.
The words seem to be stuck but his eyes tell me he knows.
