Night slumbers
The world sleeps now, and I am the only one that walks the world. This is my time to make sure everyone is happy in there beds while my tormented soul wanders and thinks about the past the present and the future. Could you possibly understand the things that I know in my heart? Everyone follows the path of light while I walk the path of the night. Looking into others dreams I see there screams and take there pain to keep them safe. How could anyone understand the wonders I see. You sleep through the night and I take the pain from the day you share in your dreams, so you can rest easy through your sleep. Understanding that my life is only in the night I watch you walk through the days as I try to sleep but remembering everyone's pain. Sleep never comes to me only rest in the day when I am still there, just not in the streets. Only to be back out after sunset to wander and keep you sleep peaceful once again.
a lot comes to my mind when i read this! triss have you ever just sat up and watched someone sleep while you just thought about them and all the shit that you do for them? ever wonder what they are thinking about when they sleep? or even what they think while they're awake for that matter? what they think when you do what you do for them? or if they even care?

Yes Sin, I actually have. But I still don't understand why he has to take everyone else's pain when he can't even acknowledge his. But hopefully Mike, you'll find happiness in your love for Hailey
