Perhaps we should deal with
Perhaps we should deal with prostitution the way they do in Europe. They realize there will always be prostitution, so there is a street or two set aside just for this, and prostitutes, both sexes, are seen by public health staff regularly. Even so, there are many prostitutes who prefer to ply their trade outside the regulated paramenters.
Don't get me wrong, I am not condoning prostitution, nor have i ever been to one. It's a hot-potato topic for sure. But they say it is the oldest profession, and it is not going to go away.

Being an European I pride myself in knowing a tad more about how European countries "deal" with prostitution than you do. Most of the countries have street prostitution and some of the countries, like Sweden and Norway, have made buying sex illegal. Trafficking is a huge problem, with victims mainly from Africa and East Europe. As far as I know, Netherlands is the only country who have a healthcare program for prostitues, and also the only country that made it legal to buy and sell sex openly. Europe is more than Amsterdam you know
