Crystal Eyes

Crystal eyes, see how bright

My love does shine for thee this night.

Thy lips so shame the lovely rose;

It wreathes in pain as thy beauty grows.

Thy sunlit tresses gleam away

Shadows of the passing day.

And only I will ever know

The hate you bear for my soul.
