I took all the china

Out of my cabinets today

I was frothing at the mouth

With rage.

I took all the cups,

All the plates,

All the saucers.

One by one I threw them

At my brick wall.

One by one I threw them

Hearing the porcelain crack

And crumble.

I had received very upsetting news.

I was in love with you.

How dare you interrupt my life?!

Nobody asked you.

I abhorr my so-called love for you.

It makes the nerves itch

In my body.

It's all chemical in the brain.

I wish I hated you.

Hatred would be much more

Satisfying.

How did I get afflicted

With this madness?!

Without removing my clothes

Without ambling sensously

Without one deep kiss

Without one lustful look
