A dream
I had a dream and sent it to you,
In hopes that one day it might come true.
On the wings of a snow-white dove
It flew out searching for my one true love.
It came back with a story to tell,
Full of gentle thoughts and wishes well.
It said, “I found what you’ve been looking for
A friend, a love, and so much more.”
Then it led me straight to your door,
Whispered, “This is the one you’ve waited for.
The one who will love you and treat you right,
The one who will love you for the rest of your life.
