My Star
Times seem hard for you at the moment,
I can tell by the way that you smile,
I look in your eyes and see honesty,
Though you’re hurting all the while.
I want to try and make you see,
How amazing I think you are.
That even though you’re hating life,
To me, you are my star.
You always make me smile,
Everytime I talk to you.
Then you’ll say it’s me that’s sweet,
Coz I wanna help you through.
But I can’t see how that makes me sweet,
As I feel I want to help you.
It makes me feel privalleged,
That you trust me enough to talk to.
You are an amazing person,
You make my life ever more great.
There is no one else who does this for me,
Who turns me to this happy state.
Anyone who doesn’t love you,
Are truly missing out.
Because I feel you’re the person,
Who shows what loves all about.
Amy no one has ever written a poem about me before so this made me feel rather emotional. It is delightful and Im really grateful for this. I've printed it out and stuck it on my wall.. as whenever Im down now I will read it and realise I do have people who care for me.
