Untitled -- 3.25.2008

You're the One whom makes me feeble---

   more enticing to the senses than any needle.

The perfect hallucination, the right combination of firing synapses;

   more euphoric than any form of self-eradication.

My head spins 'round, like a globe,

   as I feed from your eternal bowl.

Without you, I stand alone,

   damned, dumbfounded, and faceless---

   enveloped in your arms, I succumb to a peaceful stasis.

My life is lived, frozen in this sepia haze;

   addicted to you, my Love... these are the best days.

Author's Notes/Comments:

It's a re-write of a poem/song lyric I originally wrote in my Freshman year of high school (2002?). Honestly... I don't know. -JTB.
