Grand Perception

We lay silent,

our bodies at a standstill with the world.

One body adjacent to another;

I shall whisper in your ear,

my hymns of love and serenity.

Peaceful aura, heed my call,

for peace truly is smothering the evil.

No terror, no fear, no hatred can penetrate my soul;

it has,

at long last,

submitted to calmer days.
