Nations try to bully other nations with threats of withdrawing trade in commodities known to be tied to national well-being. Oil, gas, coal, grain, and raw materials top the lists. If nations do not get their dictates, they resort to diplomacy while preparing their militant response to back up negotiation points.

Most combatants learn this at age ten. I am a late bloomer.

As am I! Got used to the
As am I! Got used to the kindergarten tenets of playing nice, sharing, keeping your hands to yourself. But in practice, the world plays by a whole set of different rules.

Remember the meaning of America -- now that is the world meaning. Pick a reason, any reason. Nations used to help nations. usa was not suppose to help Ukraine - Covid outlays were supposed to stop ultruistic money but it did not. NATO nations rallied must keep made for war manufacturers in billions because after 2 decades they have declare themselves national institutions.

Remember money is free speech. Congress loved that one coupled with non-disclosure of who contributed free speech - producing a bouncing baby fascist state. Some patriot whi will read the Constitution and don a cape and restore the Republic (we are not a democracy). We embrace democraticesque principles. That may require crashing the dollar.

Fed's Mr. Powell, to raise interest rate .5 in June and again in July. Addendum to action: inflation will be with us for a while (@2 more years). I find all of this very stimulating. :D
