I have made my contributions to civilization; jotted down a bit of verse, some prose. Genes are passed on, body is just about done, where oh where could I possibly go next?

To rise and Stella forth to tilt at a windmill or two, perhaps, I already have a full set of dragonbone china. There is no more room on three bookcases. I could go buy more bookcases.

Putin's generals will rebel before they let him nuke anybody. Covid will mutate until earth ends or it becomes uninfectious. Global warming, like financial markets, will make the sky fall. Do you dare to doubt we are done here? Starting from scratch is not on the multiple choice list.

American Oligarchs. Some groups are worth contemplation. This is Highlander attitude: Only one and I want it all now. Who raised and willfully lied to these risk takers?

My world is shrinking. Now, that's a pleasant downsizing. Last leaves eventually fall. Not this year, please. I gotta see how Russia plays out!

Earth's waters hold our
Earth's waters hold our memories and her soils our souls. You will go to where you came from and the water will tell your story.
I Will Go
To where I came from. - Well Said! I believe that.
Water as storyteller - nice!

Pens are getting lonelier by the day
Keep 'em in good company a while longer.
And, forgive me, but I hope a beautiful vine or bush quickly grows out of the spring, and blocks your view of Russia. May it captivate you even more.
Don't go anywhere : )
Hanging In There
Still making plans. Mental health says nothing lasts, prognosis concurs. Each day is new. 72 is great, 92 so much better! :D
Very glad to hear you have
Very glad to hear you have kept the Daily Planner full of clean pages. Wishing you good grace and any help you need to clear the hurdles before you.
If by chance you're not familiar with Turmeric, I would like to recommend it. It's good an almost untold number of good uses, among which those which may relate to what you currently face dealing with. It's done wonders for a number of people in my life (as well as a cat, believe it or not). Highly recommended.
Look forward to seeing your around in these all too human days ahead. Here's to spring.
Spring
Talk in D.C. to end clock shifts twice a year. Yay! Took walk down to Richard Park at Belle Isle bridge, passed out 5 copies of a free hip hop poem (2010). Lovely weather. Walked among the Canada Geese and ducks. Spring!

Tumeric and pepper rocks, add cumin with generously on food. Had it on cheese eggs this a.m.
Joints better. ~A~
Politicians very desparate
Politicians very desparate right now to find ways to be liked that won't cost their financers any power ; ) All for daylight's savings being permanent, none the less. Definitely unhealthy for the population to keep changing the clocks - more and more studies show it. And it's otherwise nothing less than a pain in the butt, which I'm sure you'd agree : p
In the meanwhile, spring coming in a few days early, lucky us! Sounds like a well-rounded, nice day. Picture perfect day here, as well. Glad to hear you felt up to it, and got to soak it in. Spring weather is a healthy spice of it's own ; )
We have had snow on Easter

Michigan is fickle. This week - cool breeze. SCOTUS will leave marriage and to whom a state right. Tech lets us watch a country full of buildings be destroyed. I have maintained the humanities in my brain, children hearing bombs fall did it. Don't mess with ma babies, kids, and young adultd. Adults can buy a shotgun or shoulder weapon of limited destruction. The exodus is interesting from multiple sides.

Texas is burning. Hard to feel empathy for Abbott on voting, abortion holocaust laws, migrants, et al yet fire in fields and houses burning - our tax dollars as collateral for more borrowed help. We could lose the West. More migrants.

Rust belt vote tied to deglobalization politics and Elon building mega over there. Gutsy! Off to oatmeal. Ta.
