What is time to a poet

but a medium as flat as 

paper and dark as 

a fallacious rumor about

to become an alternate 

truth?

.

So, before the sun

shows up, a poet writes

emotions down and hopes

the words cooperate.

It is better if it rains.

I don't know why. To set

the mood, I suppose.
