When all I want to do is stay
To hear you tell me you want me here
And beg me not to leave you alone
To show how much you really want me
Make me believe it's not just a game
You really feel the same way I do
Me leaving would hurt you the same way
But forming the words to say all this
Is hard enough for us to do
The still silence is deafening
Moments tick by until the time comes
Where I must finally say the words I dread
Goodbye and I will see you soon
