one that makes my heart soar
He is kind and gracious
and lives to make me smile
I know the curve of his face
have memorized his gorgeous smile
and the way his eyes shine for me
He meets me every night
Just to spend the time with me
Letting me know how he feels
and wanting my joy to be his
He knows how to make me laugh
and lets me cry when I need too
He wants everything about me
and isn't afraid of my darkness
It's a shame he only exists
when I sleep.
