TILL DEATH US DO PART

Folder:
Dark Poetry

It's so nice to see you, I'm glad your not late,
Make haste, and please come step inside.
It's not sometimes easy when meeting your fate,
Yet always, cannot be denied.

So bring forth your presence, along with your past,
Your history book is now read.
Each chapter so precious, from first through to last,
Yet, meaningless once you are dead.

I take you from where you can no more belong,
Fear not what is soon meant to be,
From burdens of life you have carried too long,
It's time you are finally free

Be righteous and proud with the choices you've made,
Regrets I hope, there are but few.
I would stay and chat, but I haven't the time,
And then again.. neither have you.

Where Did You Go?

Excellent chat with a dead person and the last two lines nailed it for me - Lady A
