At times, in life, it is impossible to keep the balance
when things weigh too much on one side
To maintain a perception of equality
Is very difficult for me..
Shivers were mistaken for thrills,
Love for lust, Life for death,
One thing must compensate for another
To preserve the harmony I seek.
Sometime I feel my house is falling
But, in reality it is not, it is only my perception
I am holding on to my negative lessons.
Refuting positive progression at the
Expense of spiritual experience,
Reminds me of parts of my own life
That's not really me, couldn't be,
quietly pondering failures,
hiding scars of bygones instead of healing
It's time for a change.
My life is not just a single truth
But it contains many view points of truth
The story you believe is different from mine
And both stories are true, to each one of us.
My truth is important to me
Your truth is important to you.
our truth is based on our perception
Do we need this truth?
