Do not stand and cry
When I stood there gazing at the sea,
I thought death has control of me
and could arrive any time with out any warning.
There may not be any seagulls to cry for me,
the waves may break harder on the seashore,
the ripples of waves may just flow and spread.
I need to plan for it and say grateful to family.
The twilight and dawn, the sunset and sunrise
as it happens all day and just ignore this man
as he is the lonely old man not known to many.
There may be no sadness of farewell
as I am one of the lone men who lives alone.
I have told my children "do not stand and cry
in my grave as I am not there, I do not sleep".
I may be the wind that blows around them.
I am the twinkling stars which shine at night.
"Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there".
