its a new day
in a new year
I am laughing at the past
its now clear
that I am on my way to better places.

No more stasis.
I am moving now
its time to start the races
only a matter of time
until all my time is filled
and I will have no time to sit and think

or even blink
i not only see the light
I can now feel the warmth
on my skin.
I feel like laughing until I cry
passion is filling my life.

i feel the elastic band on my life
stretching back
its about to sling shot me
into the clouds. a new place
a new world awaits
I cannot wait.
