There once was a spider
who lived in a tree
it spun a web
that was as big
as can be
a little girl
who was walking one day
got caught in the web
and is there to stay
the spider soon asked her
if she would like to play
no
she said
maybe another day
maybe another time
but for sure
never a day
with you
I liked this poem. It reminds me of when I was in high school.
