at the same time, it is only at first glance
under closer scrutiny when put under the electro-microscope
one realizes that they could be a model for a zombie greeting card
serial readers in bookshop windows
or glued to a screen of a kindle at the coffee shop
make reading the essential machine of our time
still, I surmise there is no surface tilt on a video game
the armed avoidance of quiet
this poem is printed by permission of omission
the poem could be bitter but then, only I can make it so
nothing to be concerned about
there is no magic wand anymore only an entertainment center with remote control
