departed metaphors are devoted

as Venus contemplates mysterious impressions
as her experience frequently selects severe selections
she brings herself to halt the dissection
she flings herself into the azure of another direction

all her lovers, were polished in troika
she says, “departed metaphors are devoted
and dead lovers remain true”
amused by faithless disillusionment

striking the poetic pose
where beautifully written secrets propose
curious emotion is intangible
dazzled by positioned shapes

in the end night will be perpetual
and cold with white coarse snow
the moonlit place shows need
with shivering lips and tongues blue with frost

And I also adore: ~~experience frequently selects severe selections~~when the expression takes the reader on the ride atop the poet's pen-mind - nice - a circular definition poetically expressed, yes! - Lady A
