Author's Notes/Comments: 

This song is dedicated to my first love. We were together for seven years. Long story short: I found out he cheated and we broke up. From time to time, I still think about him and miss him but what we had is in the past.

Thank you for taking the time to read/comment. I appreciate it. It's a song actually and not a poem. Though, it can be thought of as a long poem where you repeat the chorus after verse 1, verse 2, and bridge.
