4. Make your own lunch - Many working people eat lunch at a restaurant or buy fast foods from a fast food cart or drive through. Whether they don’t have the time to make their own lunch or they prefer to eat outside, they are all wasting money and so are you if you do the same. It is much more cost-effective and healthier to eat home-cooked lunch than to spend money on buying meals.

1. It helps you to deal with stress - Stress is a natural human emotion that kept us safe in the prehistoric days. Thanks to the flight or fight response, your ancestors could react to upcoming dangers in time.


However, the current socio-economic structure puts stress in a rather debatable position. It is indeed helpful but an excess amount of it can lead to certain mental and physical health problems. High levels of epinephrine and cortisol can damage our body in ways we can never imagine.


Vacation can help deal with stressful situations, but also allow you to unwind and reset the hormone concentrations within your body, leaving you energetic and full of confidence for the upcoming challenges that await you.


2. It helps you to develop new perspectives - If there are any creative workers (artists, writers, musicians) out there who are reading this, then you must be aware of the term ‘creative-block’.

It’s a state of stagnation where you’re unable to come up with something creative or imaginative.


The corporate equivalent of this would be chronic procrastination which is a destructive emotion that can hurt your working potential.


Vacations are a great way to rejuvenate your inner spirit by rekindling its flame. A vacation to some exotic place has the potential to alter your perception of reality and can very much renovate your personality.
