This poem was inspired after I happened to read about how long the loving Mercedez -- the heroine of Alexander Dumas' moving novel of adventure, love, trials, tribulations, treachery and honour -- ending up admiring the will power and true love of Mercedez for the Count of Monte Cristo. 27 years is a lifetime but Mercedez, like some noble women of virtue, character and chastity and staunch believers in true love; waited for her true lover -- the hero of the novel -- The Count of Monte Cristo.
Similarly in Shakespeare's play "Othello", the beautiful and noble Desdemona gives up her life but proves her true love to Othello the moor who fell to the scheming Iago's wile suggestions and strangled her to death.
But ah, there are millions of modern day women, who do not even know who Mercedez, Desdemona, Ophelia (Hamlet by Shakespeare), Helen of Troy, Erucidyce of Orpheus, Juliet (Again the Bard Shakespeare); let alone Laila, Shireen, Yashoda, Heer, Sassi, Sahiban, Maarvi, or Sohni -- all real life female legends of the past who proved the meaning of true love...so much so that their names still live on...as Allah (The God) blesses them with everlasting fame and time and again sages of the ages write songs, ballads and poems as well as biographical novels about their true love.
NOT ALL....BUT MOST OF THE MODERN WOMEN ARE WORSE THAN BITCHES...BECAUSE BITCHES COHABIT WITH DOGS FOR OFFSPRING BUT THE SO-CALLED "LIBERATED WOMAN VAMPIRE" SEEKS MEN AND MORE MEN TO SATISFY HER SEX CRAVING AND IF THE MEN ARE RICH...THEY LOVE THEIR CARNAL ASSOCIATION EVEN MORE...FOR INSTANCE A FAMOUS AMERICAN WOMAN WHO REDUCED A TYCOON TO RAGS. FIE ON THEM! THE HOME OF SUCH LIVING DEMONS LURKING AROUND US IS HELL...MAYBE THAT IS WHY ALLAH (THE GOD) MADE HELL.
