May we be all we blessed with goodness…

for I happen to think it’s true

that there is goodness inside all of us…

inside of me…

inside of you…

And for those who have let your hate overshadow your goodness

who have chosen to live on the dark side of the moon…

for the sake of every living creature on this Earth

May you be blessed to find your goodness soon.

May we be blessed to look for the good in every one…every day

always keeping in mind…

some days we need to look a little harder…

some days it may be difficult to find.

Today I’m grateful for goodness and for Desmond Tutu..

Who, while he was alive, these wise words from his lips unfurled:

Do your little bit of goodness where you are, he said,

It’s those little bits of good put together

that overwhelm the world.

I’ve often thought that goodness whispers her wisdom softly…

and we must be quiet to hear her words….

while evil has to shout above its ignorance in order to be heard.

But this makes it too easy for ignorance and evil

in our world unconditionally run about….

So it’s time for goodness with its wisdom

to stand up…

find its voice…

and shout!
