This is about one of my friends. Things have gotten better since he's read this, but some things are still the same...

CASHIER: "What's that mark on your forehead?" GUY: "I decided to break several pieces of wood with my head." CASHIER: "Why did you do that?" GUY: "I bashed my brain for a girl is bashing my heart." CASHIER: "Better to bash yourself than her, eh?" GUY: "I'd rather hit a wall before i hit a woman; i'm not a wife-beater." --- interesting conversation with a cashier at 7-11 earlier today. i must say, he helped me put things in perspective...

My dad was cheating on my mom and this is basically how it went..

This poem was inspired by these four people: Alex, Matt, Rob, and Logan (mostly Alex and Matt)

This poem was written as a 'challenge' using the line 'I bring lillies' as the opening line, and 'She hated roses' as the last lines. What do you think? ;-)
