An artfully conceived and: An artfully conceived and constructed little package of movement, poignancy and an inevitable end. You packed all the dizzying, unstoppable, astounding drama into four lines: four steps, cunningly balanced and on fire. Amazing stuff! Loving it!

The way the poem is formatted: The way the poem is formatted on the screen looks like waves of that endless marching, reaching further and further toward the goal stated in the last line.  This reminds me of some of the ancient Greek poems that were shaped like altars, or flower vases, or other objects.  You have written an excellent poem with a great format.

Keep up the good work! Great job!

I have, at times,: I have, at times, unintentionally failed to acknowledge comments, but I feel the way you do about the simple politeness, the consideration, of a response that takes far less time to write than the poem itself.   But that's just me. Others are welcome to their opinions on this because there's no hard and fast rule, and I can't judge their circumstances, but, personally, I can't shake that sense of etiquette—just as it would be very awkward and rude to ignore someone who complimented me to my face.    When I first started posting here I did only want an archive for my poems, and I was surprised to find out that people were actually interested in my work and leaving comments on poems I didn't consider quite polished or complete. Then I discovered that this site has a feature that allows me to post privately. Other sites also allow members to keep a private archive of their poems or to disable comments. I have quite a number of poems in my private stash that, for one reason or another, I don't want to share or I don't want comments on.   But once I hit that "save" button, I feel that I'm inviting people into my work and if they take the time to read and express their thoughts, I'll take less than a minute to thank them and, most often, take a look at what they have going on at their page.   At this point I'm going to offer a blanket apology to anyone who didn't receive an acknowledgment of their feedback. Often it's because I didn't receive an email alert or I'm insanely busy.   I'm thankful that you do have the sense of empathy, graciousness and generosity that you do because you've gone a long way to make this little corner of the web a place of inspiration, encouragement and fine art.   For this, I'm forever grateful.

I'm so sorry to know you're: I'm so sorry to know you're in such discomfort. Sending heartfelt prayers your way right now!   I'm amazed by how much you accomplish and contribute here, and I cherish every poem, every insightful comment. This awe-inspiring tribute to a very deserving Poet just had to be written, and your miraculous pen and luminous heart made it possible.   Still floating blissfully upon your words.

Is this your coy way of: Is this your coy way of hiding this emerald city, so that others that might spoil it cannot flock there? : )   If so, I get it. I always tell people, when they inquire on my religion, that mine has a flock of 1, and the only way to preserve it is to keep it that way ; )

Daisies are good, sage bush pruned is good... but... yeah hey.  I like the mundane quality of this as we often pretend these things don't exist or dont affect us. Shell shocked or post traumatic.real or imagined is just as powerful as these every day iconograma in your poetry. Just marvellous! Now say thankyou. You have coffee. Coffee is good, daisies are good... sage bush is pruned... that's good...but... yeah hey?

The intense emotion that: The intense emotion that powers this poem is so raw that its authenticity cannot be question.  This is a transcript from human experience that cannot be questioned.  And despite the increasing degree of intensity, that line after line delivers, nothing prepares the reader for the final line---which carries a final shock that will linger after the actual reading experience has come to its end.

Just manic thoughts: Just manic thoughts recounting so many slights on a recent visit. Quite painful when people can t see you. That's why  I treasure that you can see me through the waterfalls falling from my mind and always without judgement and very much with kindness understanding encouragement and support all the elements of agapi right there no small feat for strangers connected by aether, pixels and poetic expression.
