I love where you went with: I love where you went with this!
The first draft was enthrallingly beautiful, but after a bit of polishing, some white space and sonorous pacing to provide breathing room for your little bursts of brilliance, or "pixels of light" as you superbly called them, and an engaging cadence to carry your perceptions to a striking conclusion, I can only say: amazing!
Never doubt your innate gift and your extraordinary value here.
I'm deeply moved and humbled by your very supportive words. Brightest blessings.
If you have a serious interest..: If you have a serious interest in autopsies, send me a private message. I'm a member of The Autopsy Club, a club for those of us who feel anybody can perform an autopsy, not just those with medical training. Our next meeting is Friday, we'd love it if you can attend. It's open Mike night!
I wanted to tell you : I wanted to tell you
I'll make it clear
You can overcome your fear
My lovely wife, when we first met
Was as scared of the dark as you can get
Then she saw me naked
She no longer has that fright
The only problem is
Now she's scared of the light!
There is a possible image: There is a possible image there of smoke rising, of incense rising, of the sacrifice of praise that rises as a sweet smelling savour and as the sunlight strikes through the tendrils the worship is received and communion is completed.
How i look forward to you: How i look forward to you wonderful insights. The heat and soul of posrpoems lives in and through you
Your comments prompted me to tidy it up a bit and give it the form it deserves. Nothing as careful and thought out as your exquisite poetic journeys that are somehow perfunctory feeling - just so right. I wish I had the discipline to go where you go instead of just catching random ideas in the pixels of light hoping they will live on and one day ill create an anthology of the goodness bits or even write the ultimate poem... that its standard will meet yours... thank you so much. With much appreciation and delight. Hugs ss
Thank you my learned and wise: Thank you my learned and wise friend, you are always appreciated. You have become the stellar torch lighting the anchor looking starward on befits the hand over of the soul of Post Poems and Postpomies everywhere
Whoah! Starward That's quite: Whoah! Starward That's quite an odyssey I think this response rivals the work! I enjoyed it just as much, though I had a triemersion interstellar interdimensional and inner view, I loved seeing it through your eyes. I nodded sympatically often. What a grand theology and complete analysis and reverent admiration of incredible talent and rightfully so!
How can I begin to thank you: How can I begin to thank you for your very generous and radiant imprints upon my day? Your comment precisely expressed the effect I envisioned and verified everything I was hoping to convey, and coming from such a word artisan, it made all the difference. Thank you for your transporting gift! You are an inspiration.
"and yet here we are
at our: "and yet here we are
at our throats as much as in our hearts"
Word Empress, you did it again!
With dazzling acumen, rare awareness and burrowing insight, you unearthed so much about the dichotomy, the conundrum, the crazy-making complications and unspeakable treasures of our human connections. I love the laser-sharp resignation at the end: a realization that the exasperating, ever-changing scrollwork of humanity just is what it is. "You figure it out" Love it!
So much perspective, gorgeously unveiled.
I get the feeling we’re thinking of the same person..: I get the feeling we're thinking of the same person. By the way, if you're looking for a good laugh, check out Randy Rainbow on YouTube. He does song parodies, many about our favorite Republican. Brilliant and hilarious.
