Author's Notes/Comments:
Kelly was my first dog. She was a 14 year old kelpie who liked to chase magpies and eat apricots. I always used to say "I hate that dog she bites!" after I'd be teasing her first. She was a great dog and a fantastic friend who helped shape the person I am today. I wrote this on the 19.09.2011 one day while cuddling her on our swing chair. She died today (29.10.2012) in my Dad's arms. We had called the Vet to come and put her down but like always she never did anything on anyone else's terms, she passed away 3 hours before the Vet was due to arrive. Thank you Kelly for everything and I love you always XXX
