She could no longer fit in with you,
She could not do the things you do.
And as she lay there to fall from grace,
She realised she was wasted space.
And while she cried darkened tears,
Her soul lay cradled in dormant fears.
No heart, no mind for love to reside,
The days of good deeds and forgiveness died.
And when there was nothing left to say,
She kissed your hand.
And gave you away.....
Whispering ever so softly, "I love you".
