Play With Fire, Drown in Water

Folder:
A Beautiful Life

The fire dims brightly in the dark,

Making the shadows lose space in the room.

She holds the small fire in her hand,

Staring at the gentle fire she had summoned.

Water drips within the white room,

Casting small shadows with each drop.

He lets the water fall from his hands

To let it float in mid-air delicately.

The girl closes her eyes slowly,

Letting the fire guide her in the darkness.

Her body is filled with excitement

As she lets enthusiasm run through her mind.

He whispers for the end for himself

As he lets the water create a puddle.

His eyes closes to let the darkness take over

And let the light to release his sorrow.

When she opens her eyes fast as a spark,

Flames burst from her hands and body

To let herself burn the darkness away.

The room burns down to let the light come in.

Tears fall from his eyes as he opens them

And the water from his hands flow like water falls,

Flooding the room into the sea of darkness.

The room drowns the light into the dark with him.

I was listening to Play With Fire by The Birthday Massacre and it made me think of the opposite while writing this.
