After stretching my fit body to warm up,
I jump into the water,
feeling the cold water caress my warm body.
Yet, it feels soothing to be deep down the water.
Bubbles float up as I breathe out of my nose.
My legs paddle back and forth as I swim back up.
I gasp for air while wiping water off my face,
taking another deep breath before going back down.
My feet kick off the wall to give me a boost.
As I rush through the water like a bullet,
I breathe out as I begin to do 4 strokes.
I turn my head to the side to breathe in.
My eyes endured through the chlorine
as I swam without the goggles.
Closing them would make me crash to the side.
Yet, it felt peaceful to look under the water.
Water blocks off every sound above the surface,
but I continue to hear the calm water moving.
All I can really hear is my legs splashing the water
and the sound of me breathing for air.
It doesn't matter how many laps I do;
I just want to escape from everything around me.
Maybe I'm fated to die in the water one day.
At least I would die peacefully.
Wow!! That was really nice
