Watch the world go by, see the couples kiss,
I don't have that, and I've got nothing to miss.
She wrote me out of her head, and lusted another three,
Everybody says I love you to everybody other than me.
She's been gone two years, I've been gone five.
Won't I be somebody's somebody before I die?
When I do, if they get tired, will it be a lie?

I remember this place, so cold and lonely,
Self-hatred in response to twenty five loveless years.
Her fuck me eyes for other guys,
In all the mirrors, in all the lights,
She used me for sex on our very first night.
Her cloudy gaze stared right through me,
and I've never seen pupils so clearly.
