decant igneous work which cascades from her lucent crucible
like words she gilds in her impassioned cadence
as staggering and formidable
as her incisive wit
to a deluge of sparks
to a luminous immersion
I'm enthralled, pierced with affection and quickly
contemplating peculiarities
that delighted, charmed
and bewitched
beguiled and
ensnares
as she
dashes
ingots
against
anvils
and casts
her alloy fingers down my back
as if tracing the burnished contours of
her argent smile she's soldered to my memories.
I am forever fascinated by their eminence
