On this rainy day

We washed away

The ties that bind to times before

The universe had a way to sell

The secrets of the stars

We'll take one for us

And run like hell



Awaken the light thats glimmered so dimmed

Release the harmonies in my soul

Play through wicked tangles

Show me how to be alive

To be able to breathe again



Untwisting with every note

Unwinding with every breath

Responding with every glance

Requesting just this one dance

To intertwine whats been lost



Calling back the muse that once remained

The shared simple things of life

We took with great strife

But aim to rebuild whats been broken

Take flight, the future is brightening

But also very frightening



We'll dance through galaxies and back through stars

The universe won't hold us down

Our star will shine the brightest

And soon you will see
