As I gaze on from a distance
I watch my life fall apart
Shattering to millions of pieces
Just like my broken heart
As I stare from a distance
I watch my life unfold
All the pieces fading away
Into a world that’s so empty and cold
As I glare from a distance
I watch a mess be created
From the mistakes I’ve made
And the things I’ve hated
As I look on from above
I watch my loved ones die inside
Little by little, I see them disappear
They try to hide
But I see them cry
Because I betrayed them, let them down
And stole their last chance
To say goodbye.
