The Man in the Mirror

Wulfman Adventures

I was going to give in

Give up, quit, cut losses

Sum up the damage

Cash the Blade pieces

Reflections, seeking the truth

I had a choice, I always do

The one I chose, been heavy

Dragging my mind, opening the eyes

I stood up for myself for once

The biggest enemy was no one

But me, myself, I and we are terrible

A maturing plan taking form

Took ten years to become a better man

One I could look in the mirror

Love me, love what I do, love myself

    True philosophy regarding

True philosophy regarding self analysis of yourself and the improvements you've made about yourself. Liked your poem it just shows how unreasonable self doubt can be at times. Good read and well written.

Thank you

Yes, it is deep and yes we are also the best, or is it worse, sabotagers for our goals.  The worse enemy is not those aroud us, though they do contribute.  In the long run, this was a bit difficult to write and it wrote it self.  Again thank you, and glad it was good read and well written.
