New place, new crowd and a whole different book.
It is public space, and elders are watching.
In April wife and I moved to a city.
Scare me. I did not have work yet and an elders' program needed hand drums painted.
My beautiful Mrs. McCarty volunteered me and my art gear.
I went with a Kingfisher and added a sun.
Mrs. McCarty asked what is perched on. A stick I say.
Oh, how about a beautiful flower. Right on it boss.
Many thought this was a Hummingbird, and then I had idea for the next drum.

Move over Autoban (spelling). Ever design covers for poetry books or greeting cards? Contracts abound for solid quick study artists willing to make a few bucks on the side. U sell your work right? Fear not. God is watching too. :D - Yr poem pal, Stella

as I mentioned in my message; I have started on greeting cards. :) My trade mark subject, Hunting Wolf, was the first to be chosen. Then 'The Gift of Love' was second and third 'Power of Prayer.'
Even talk of creating a book of art with poetry of mine. I have started a collection during my first week of work. I have the poems, sketching paintings to go with the poems and thinking of a title.
Yes, when I am not working to provide my half for the home; I am elbows deep in art work. My side job. My third love, son first and then my wifey.
