Her name was gypsy rose
she wore tattered and torn clothes
you could find her most anyday on the sea shore
sadly looking away
Her man went out to sea people say
it was 83 the year of the great storm at sea
but rose always knew that he would come home
she would stand on that sea shore for hours on end
She would pretend that she could see his ship
in full sail heading to shore
rose passed away one winter day they buried her
on that sea shore so she could look away
some say on a clear night you could see rose
and her man holding one another in the moon light...
This was a GOOD read Mr WordMan Sir
She would pretend that she could see his ship
in full sail heading to shore
