A Poem by wordman

"

 "

I heard the ambulance

as it flew down the road

somehow I knew it was you

deep in my soul

I didn't want to believe

but I knew it was true

you showed signs for days on end

I guess it just didn't sink in

that you would take your life

you would leave your children your wife

now what will they say

to the children at school

what will your wife say

to your mom and dad

that they would never see you again

would be so sad

so before you say good bye

give life a try

and just remember

when you pull the trigger

it`s your family that will have to remember...

Wow, I'm crying. I have a very close friend whose step-dad committed suicide. That is so sad.

I have a friend who had to deal with this. She had a relative who committed suicide, I've been hearing about it happening far too often. It's truly a tragedy for those gone and especially those left behind.
