Never Said Goodbye
You know
we never got to say goodbye
but when i think of you
it makes me cry.
I``m so sorry it came
down this way,but i
still think of you everyday.
So many memories of times we had
and now that were apart it makes
me sad.
You will always be in my heart
that part of you they will
never take away.
I hope your heart is not broken
like mine,but if it is it will
heal in time.
So just remember from time to time
in my heart ,you will alway`s be mine...

I don't think I'll ever be ready to reread this poem because it was hard for the first time. You made me remember friendships. boyfriends, and ancestors I've lost along the way. It made me feel things I haven't allowed myself to in a long time. I thought if I buried the heartache deep enough I'd be able to forget it's there and move on. Your words proved me wrong and I hope you don't have to endure losing anyone else. I hope instead you are able to continue smiling, laughing, remembering, cherishing memories, making new ones, and all that makes your life a blessing.
