The sun setting behind the ocean,
as the moon rises from behind
a mountain of gold
the sky jade and blue with
a yellow to gold tint across
the sky
summer rain
falling down to the grass
gently blowing my hair
the stillness
of the night ,as the shadows
gently fall around
take a breath
feel the cool air
caressing your skin
your heart in rythum
with the falling rain
you are re born, you feel no pain...
Beautiful makes me think of
Beautiful makes me think of warm summer nights, sue.
a warm summer night,aool
a warm summer night, aool breee and misty rain looking out at the lake and amountain with the sun setting

This was worth a second read,
This was worth a second read, and I enjoyed it even more as I relived the startling imagery. (Love that "mountain of gold"!) It drifts feather-light and angelic down the page. A gorgeous creation.

So very powerful, this poem,
So very powerful, this poem, and it needs no attached picture or audio track to have its tremendous effect on the reader. There is something this poem captures; so deep that I cannot put a name to it, but it is certainly there, and the poem adrotily draws it forth. This is the brass ring that many of our peers cannot quite seize . . .

Mesmerizing in its flow,
Mesmerizing in its flow, enchanting in its imagery, this awakens the senses on different levels. I love the moon rising "from behind / a mountain of gold". A bolt of glory right there! An absolute joy to read.
