if i was just a passing thought,
someone to fulfill your needs,
at the moment.
someone to lean on
for a short time.
someone to occupy your mind,
someone like me,gullible and blind.
i wonder,
was i just a moment in time
one of many,
true love, so hard to find .
yet for me,
it felt so real,
in your eyes,
just another cheap thrill...

Is that an oxymoron? Almost. If it is cheap it can't be all that thrilling. Still, gullibility is a part of the game when emotions are the ante. I use big words, write, and have opinions - not a big draw for sustained romance. Good one. slc

I think a lot of people if
I think a lot of people if they had love wouldn’t know what to do with it. I think real love takes time and stands the test of time. The tests reaffirm. Too many mistake sexuality for love. Love is a many splendid thing and many a troubled thing. Playing with hearts? Who would be a fool enough to over invest without a return? A lovesick fool or a lover of love and loving? Big themes and universal questions...

Investigating People
