The sign say population
two thousand and one.
How many of them,
are carrying a gun?
I sit on this bench
in front of the ol'feed store.
Watching the people
walk back and forth.
I know all these people
and have all my life.
For me and my family
each of them would fight.
Here comes Miss Henry
she always goes at a run,
But if you looked in her purse
you'd find a loaded gun.
Here comes the Mayor
Mr. James Coats
Check his vest pocket
you'll find a loaded Colt
Here comes Mrs Johnston
she teaches 5th grade.
She won't carry a gun
but she is always afraid.
Here comes the brothers
John,Billy and Wade
You know they have guns
from the bulge their clothes make
For the Amish girls that were killed
and for kids killed in schools across the land
For the four murdered on a Fl. highway
we have to take a stand.
It may not be the answer
and may not be Gods way
But arm yourself now
for you may not get a chance
TO PRAY............

Buren theres a jolke in Canada. The difference between
a canadian and american is that if you piss a canadian
off the write a letter. If you piss an american off they grab a gun. I have self defence courses and know how to shoot a gun, I just have no need to own one. Yet I still
found what you had to say interesting and intrigueing.
You write so light haerted even when your serious.

this poem could be just people we meet. For I have freinds that only call when they want something.
Others who pretend to care. I also have those who mean alot to me and we will always be there. You are so right though the internet is a whole new beast and threat, but
I'm adicted.
