Well, love found it
What it's been searching for
And, I'm astounded
And, furthermore uprooted
How I never knew it
I may never know
But, now I finally do
Know that when love finally finds you
It's love itself that chooses who you love
And, not you

I can't explain it
So, I won't try
But, I will praise it
As it draws me nearer to you

Philosophy's can fascinate
Lead the heart astray
And, leave you hollow
As their conditions degrade
In the face of the questions
They aim to explain
And, when you are empty
You thirst in the bane
You curse and you claim
This world is against you

I can't explain it
So, I won't try
But, I can change it
By the strength my soul provides me

We race and we ransom
Toss ourselves into a chasm
Without learning our lessons
And, then wail away
Blame others instead of the way
We cheat ourselves every day
By wallowing in old mistakes
We can never change
So, we race and we ransom
Yet another day more

I can't explain it
So, I won't try
But, I can tame it
If I truly try and really apply myself

Hear this, now
Weariness, get out
Lay your cunning down
I'm done with doubt
I'm down, and now
No longer out of hope anymore
I cast my net wide
And, found an open door
I'm going to walk through
And, explore

But, it feels weightless
And, like a weight's been lifted off of me
