In an instance You made empty into earth
Gave man life from the dust and dirt
And gave him love, trust, and woman
And gave him the power of dominion
Over Your entire creation and image
So, why should I fear anything
When You gave me everything in Your Son
And how can I be anything
Your will hasn’t empowered me to become
In an instance I can lose my strength of heart
And though I know You’re not far
My faith resorts towards my own power
But quickly wilts like a spring flower
Caught within the middle of winter
So, why should I fear anything
When You gave me everything in Your Son
And how can I be anything
Your will hasn’t empowered me to become
Like winter wheat I have withstood the hardships of exposure
But, You have assured me that when the harvest comes
Your gentle hand and mercy will take me home
